The Diocese of Rapid City is seeking a passionate disciple to provide support for all program and event-related activities for the Pastoral Ministries Department and the Office of Faith Formation. The Diocese of Rapid City offers a number of formative programs for parish disciples, including a catechetical institute, a small group Ignatian year-long retreat, and a variety of annual events that serve the pastors, parish staff, and volunteers throughout the diocese. The chancery is located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota and serves our growing diocese that encompasses the western half of South Dakota. We recently received a new bishop as our shepherd, whose motto is "Surgite Eamus," from Jesus' words to "rise and be on our way." He is looking for a talented addition to our Pastoral Ministries Offices to help support these robust ministries. The Ministry Events Program Coordinator works as a team member of the Pastoral Ministries Offices, comprising Faith Formation, Youth and Young Adult, and Marriage and Family Life Ministries. A candidate who has strong organizational skills, takes initiative, and understands the realities of parish pastoral ministry is essential for this position. This position could be 30-40 hours per week.
