Candace Camling is a freelance author and illustrator working in Catholic and Trade publishing. She recently won Best Children’s Book from the 2022 CMA and 2022 EPA awards for “Pray and Think Imaginitive Rosary Book” published by Ascension. I’d love to hear about your project!

Experience

Candace Camling has been working in the children’s book publishing field since 2007. She has illustrated over a dozen childrens books and written and illustrated 2 of them. She regularly works in Catholic publishing with past clients including Ascension, Pauline Books and Media and Our Sunday Visitor.

Candace has won many awards in juried shows and contests.

Candace Camling has been a member of SCBWI since 2008. She is currently the Illustrator Coordinator for the state of Iowa.
