David Ward

I am an experienced information technology (IT) professional with over 15 years experience in project management and over 25 years in IT work including experience as an analyst, developer, and technical lead, in addition to my experience as a project manager.  I have built my extensive experience and technical skills through my work on numerous development, re-engineering, and operations IT projects.  My technical project management experience includes working on re-engineering and maintenance of large mission critical distributed information systems, public facing healthcare websites along with their corresponding back end support systems, and student information systems for educational institutions.  I am able to use my extensive technical background and strong verbal and written communication skills in order to manage people and projects, mentor colleagues, work with clients, provide outreach to stakeholders, and implement innovative ideas for business development and outreach. I am an advocate for ongoing training, and I have been able to both provide and facilitate training for both staff and clients throughout my career as a manager.
