    I am a bit of a switch hitter - I enjoy the balance between working collaboratively and yet independently to achieve goals, and my creativity allows me to think of new ideas and strategies which can have a broad range of applications while being able to execute these strategies effectively. They are effective because I believe that careful and thoughtful planning is crucial to achieving long term success.

    My ultimate goal is to reach my fullest potential as a productive, caring and responsible member of our community which is why I am so drawn to nonprofit work and work within my church; both involve skillfully moving people upward from point A to point B in an effort to reach one’s fullest potential.

    Nonprofit Development & Fundraising

    Long term strategic planning, long term & short term departmental planning, protocols, calendars and budgeting
    Working with various levels of constituents - Executive Board members, committees, all levels of staff and volunteers- on strategic, tactical and operational levels
    Analyzing strengths and areas for improvement and making recommendations with various nonprofit's
    Managing  CRM databases, including researching and implementing conversions
    Copywriting and designing all organizational collateral materials, including fundraising appeals, newsletters, monthly invitations, annual reports, press releases, member email communications, web content in audience-focused fashion
    Writing grant proposals to various foundations
    Administering local chapter office

    Event Management

    Coordinating, managing, planning/implementing monthly speaker series and dinners, community business expos, volunteer training, volunteer programs, USA Sevens Rugby fair, street fairs, fundraising gala dinners
    Creating messaging for campaigns, events and branding
    Securing sponsorships, exhibit vendors, and in-kind donations
    Assessing events with committees and target audiences and implementing improvements

    Relationship Management

    Identifying and coordinating communication efforts with key prospects and donors
    Strategic recruiting of Board members and operational volunteers
    Reporting to various foundations and funders about organizational progress and programs
    Recruiting and securing volunteers, sponsorships, exhibit vendors, and in-kind donations
    Creating constituent-focused newsletters and communications
