The Director of Operations is a full-time, senior staff position who reports directly to the Executive Director/Pastor and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative, operational, and finance functions of the parish. The role is vital to ensuring that our facilities, resources and administrative systems support the spiritual mission of Saint Paul's.
Qualifications: - Practicing Catholic who has a strong prayer life and upholds Catholic teaching in both word and manner of life. - Passion and love for the mission of Saint Paul's and a heart for serving college students. - Proven leadership experience in operations, finance, and administration. - Ability to manage multiple teams and complex projects with professionalism and discretion. - Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills. - Possess at least a bachelor's degree.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage financial operations, budgeting, and reporting. - Oversee hiring and supervising of administrative, operational and maintenance staff. - Ensure all employees and residents are properly trained in building safety and work environment protocols. - Ensure proper care, maintenance, improvement and use of building, furnishings and office equipment. - Collaborate with pastor, parochial vicar, executive and senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives related to building, business and development activities. - Support development efforts through operational coordination and donor stewardship. - Ensure compliance with diocesan policies, legal regulations, and risk management best practices.
