Parish and Community Outreach Coordinator
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay currently has a full-time opening for a Parish and Community Outreach Coordinator.
Rooted in the mission of the Diocese of Green Bay, the Parish and Community Outreach Coordinator works as a "missionary disciple" to bring to life the concept of "missionary church" by building, maintaining, and strengthening relationships between Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay and parishes, schools, and key community groups.
In partnership with Catholic Charities and other Curia Mission teams, the position identifies social, human service, and crisis response needs of parish and school communities and creatively strategizes and implements solutions through a Christ- and Community-centered model of service delivery.
The position works collaboratively with and under the supervision of the Manager of Social Ministry and Community Outreach to develop a coordinated response locally to the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. The position will utilize a trauma-informed approach, understand Catholic Social Teaching, and be able to view service to others through a lens of Pastoral Care.
We are seeking a talented professional who has knowledge and experience in a parish structure and ministries of the church, understands Catholic Social Teaching, evangelization and discipleship. We would also prefer someone who is Catholic, has a bachelor's degree in social work, pastoral care, counseling, or related.
Catholic Charities has a robust benefits package including insurance and retirement options, time off schedules, and a family friendly atmosphere.
If you have a passion for helping others and would like to work in a faith filled environment, we would love to hear from you.
