Maintenance Mechanic

Primary duties are to perform maintenance and repairs to building, heating, ventilation, AC equipment, and grounds at the Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center, and other on-campus locations as assigned. Other tasks include trouble-shooting, operating the building energy management system, key cutting and basic lock repair, plumbing, painting, maintenance of H/VAC and boiler, and snow removal. Will be on weekend coverage rotation with a pager.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior maintenance experience required.

Valid Wisconsin driver's license required.

Bilingual in Spanish desirable.

Weekend pager rotation is required.

Occasional work with hazardous chemicals.

Some lifting of tables, chairs, furniture, equipment and supplies (up to 75 lbs.)

Knowledge of heating, AC, boilers, plumbing, pneumatics and other commercial equipment.

Candidate will undergo a physical and drug screen prior to hire.
