The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has retained Educational Directions to assist in its search for the next Superintendent for the Office of Schools. We see this as an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced institutional leader to advance the system-wide innovations already in motion and to set the strategic vision for maintaining this vibrant Catholic School community for the next decade and beyond.

The Milwaukee Catholic school system is among the largest and most innovative in the country. It ranks 9thin the nation in number of schools and has the 14th largest student enrollment. The Archdiocesan system encompasses 101 total schools across a 10-county area, includes urban, suburban, and rural schools, serves parish-based and independently-organized institutions, and embraces a broad demographic. Enrollment is stable and no schools have been closed in the last three years.

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is seeking an experienced, committed Catholic leader with a record of proven success in multi-institutional or large system settings.
