The Business Manager is the primary financial officer for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and payroll for the school. This position reports to the Principal, Head of School.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Accounts Payable
o Process vendor invoices for payment bi-monthly
o Maintain vendor files, W-9 information, and annual 1099 forms and reporting
• Accounts Receivable
o Setup family billing accounts and enrollment contracts, including Financial Aid, in SchoolAdmin
o Communicate with families if financial questions arise
o Work with the advancement office to track donations and pledge payments
o Review tuition and payments received through SchoolAdmin and other database driven vehicles - Square, DonorPerfect, etc.
• General Ledger
o Daily deposit and GL entry
o Prepare monthly journal entries
o Reconcile bank accounts
o Maintain accurate monthly account reconciliations
o Maintain Fixed Assets records and annual depreciation calculations
o Perform the Monthly closing process
o Other duties as assigned may include basic office tasks and human resource duties
o Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll in PayCom payroll system and enter in GL
o Payroll and benefits lead in coordination with Archdiocese Benefits and Payroll office
•Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
•Three years or more of experience in bookkeeping/business management.
•Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and to work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, parents and students.
•Possesses advanced verbal and written communication skills in addition to strong leadership skills.
•Ability to manage multiple and complex projects.
•Ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
•Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.

This position is a full-time position classified as Non-Exempt (hourly) - overtime eligible under the FSLA and the WMWA.
Benefits: A comprehensive package of benefits is offered including two medical plan options, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation, and holidays.
$24 to $28 hourly. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, local market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications.
