Christ the King Catholic School is seeking a dedicated part-time 0.4 (2 days a week) Music teacher for K-8 starting August 30, 2023. Requirements
• Hold a current Washington State Teaching Certificate or the equivalent from another state
• Bring professionalism and sense of conflict resolution
• Promote social justice
• Provide liturgical music at weekly school Mass
• Plan/execute a balanced music program and organizes class time so that preparation, rehearsal, and instruction can be accomplished within the allotted time
• Provide individual and small group instruction in order to adapt the music curriculum to the needs of each student
• Utilize repertoire of all types of music literature, including traditional and contemporary that are appropriate for the ages and skill levels of students
• Evaluate/report each student's musical growth, performance, and musical understanding
• Bring enthusiasm and collaborative team spirit
• Create a safe and engaging classroom learning environment
• Model excellent classroom management skills

Pay
• Part-time 0.4 salary range of $22,500-38,500. If combined with another position full-time salary range is $54,082-$103,186.
• Signing bonus
• Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
