    Reports to Principal

    Bishop Blanchet High School is a 9-12 grade catholic school located in Seattle, WA.

    Mission Statement:

    Bishop Blanchet is a Catholic, college preparatory high school established by the Archbishop of Seattle. Rooted in Gospel Values, we educate students within a challenging, positive and diverse learning environment. We inspire students to transform the world around them through a lifelong commitment to faith, scholarship and service.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in specific content area; Master's degree or higher preferred
    Washington State Teaching credential (or ability to obtain one) in content area preferred
    Catechetical certification or ability to obtain Catechetical certification required
    Practicing Catholic
    Annual contract beginning in the Fall

    The ideal candidate will have a commitment to:

    Possess ability to teach all Theology classes offered
    Collaborate in Professional Learning Communities and working toward consensus with team members
    Structure student learning to meet Common Core, State, National, or other standards
    Create common formative and summative assessments with department team members
    Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
    Strategize for enrichment/intervention to meet the needs of all students
    Utilize technology (interactive boards, one-to-one devices, google suite) to inform instruction

    Compensation and Summary of Benefits:

    Competitive salary based on experience and education
    Current Salary Range: $61,225-$121,396
