The Development Manager is part of a team that leads fundraising efforts including, but not limited to donor stewardship, oversight of digital and print communications, foundation and government grants, corporate support, and campaigns. The Development Manager is also responsible for writing appeal letters, newsletter content, grant applications and progress reports.
Essential Functions: - Coordinates direct mail and digital appeals. - Seeks grant funding from multiple sources (such as: foundations, corporations, government). - Writes funding proposals and letter of inquiry and is responsible for tracking and submitting grant progress reports. - Establishes and nurtures relationships with major donors, partners, and associate partners. - Supports and identifies events that Christ House might participate in for publicity and fundraising. - Maintains public relations by coordinating media contacts, supervising production of communication materials (such as: newsletters, social media, thank you notes, etc.), overseeing the website and developing engaging content. - Maintains and coordinates development data.
