Housekeeping Service Job Duties:
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Clean, wash and sanitize restrooms fixtures, offices
• Clean windows/mirrors in the parlor, dining, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways
• Clean parlor, chapel, stairways, and elevator
• Clean residents' and visitors' rooms; make up beds and change linens as required
• Clean vacant rooms as assigned
• Clean carpets, including vacuuming and disinfecting.
• Clean floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, etc.
• Cleaning front and backyard
• Take care of the garden
• Dispose of waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liners.
• Assist with the laundry
Equipment and Supply Functions
• Ensure that work equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
• Keep the supervisor informed of supply needs.
Education
• Must possess, as a minimum, a 6th-grade education.
