Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM during a regular school day.
Overview of the Position:
Title Third Grade Homeroom Teacher Department Faculty Reports to Assistant Principal/Principal Job Description The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a third grade homeroom teacher for the 2026-2027 School year. The third grade teacher will work closely with their grade-level team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to develop the gifts of all, and nurtures them to be saints, stewards, and scholars, always with an eye to their eternal destiny. Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree, hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have strong elementary instructional experiences.
