Instructional Support and Substitute Coordinator The Basilica School of Saint Mary

Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM during a regular school day.
The Basilica School of Saint Mary is seeking a full-time Instructional Support and Substitute Coordinator to join our dedicated instructional team. This is an ideal opportunity for a mission-driven individual with strong administrative and interpersonal skills who wishes to contribute meaningfully to Catholic education. The successful candidate will: Serve as an internal substitute teacher during faculty absences, providing instruction and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment across various grade levels.
Coordinate daily and long-term substitute coverage by managing communications, maintaining schedules, and supporting substitutes throughout the day.
Collaborate closely with school administration to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity of instruction.
Maintain accurate records of substitute assignments and assist with additional instructional or administrative support tasks as needed.

Possess or be eligible for teaching certification in Virginia.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required
Teaching experience preferred
Administrative experience or demonstrated organizational leadership preferred
Practicing Catholic strongly preferred
