Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) is the largest pro-life political organization in the country with a nationwide network of more than 1 million Americans. We combine politics with policy, investing heavily in voter education to ensure that pro-life Americans know where their lawmakers stand on protecting the unborn, and in issue advocacy, advancing pro-life laws through direct lobbying and grassroots campaigns.
The National Data Director is responsible for managing SBA Pro-Life America's field data and training infrastructure for all state directors. This person should have strong technical acumen and previous campaign experience.
Essential Functions:
Develop a robust training program for all state level data coordinators
Monitor data integrity and accountability of the canvassing operations
Manage all walk book creation and precinct organization to maximize the impact and reach of SBA voter contacts
Analyze current internal quality controls methods and make recommendations/changes to ensure the highest quality data is obtained and tracked
Manage vendor relationships with i360
Provide analysis and recommendations on predictive modeling methodology and results to Field Leadership team
Ability to distill requests with a lot of detail down to the most important points and find the most relevant information
Build/integrate automated workflows to streamline data tasks and reporting metrics
Maintain data integrity with strong internal processes for database organization
Competencies
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends/recommend actions to achieve the goals
Solutions-oriented approach, to your work-ability to anticipate needs and proactively provide insights/recommendations to the leadership team
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users with clarity
Must be pro-life.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises all state data coordinators.
Position Type/Expected Hours
This is a full-time exempt positions that requires some after hours and weekend work. Typical work week is 40 hours + per week with longer hours required during the height of election season.
Travel
This position does not require any travel.
Requirements
Specialist understanding and experience of methodologies like data warehousing, data visualization and data integration
At least 2 cycles of political data experience on a national level
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and nimble in high stakes situations
Familiarity with predictive modeling and voter segmentations/targeting
Previous management experience
Previous experience with i360 would be a huge plus!
