The position is full-time and occasional travel may be expected to tackle breaking or important news. The position is not remote. It is located in Barry's Bay, Ontario, Canada.
As a Videographer/Video Editor you will work directly with John-Henry Westen and alongside the video team, reporting directly to the Managing Director of LifeSiteNews' Video Department.
LOCATION: This is a not a remote position during regular working hours. While many of our staff telecommute from home offices-you will be solely responsible for the organization and management of the filming studio and studio equipment.
The responsibilities for this Videographer/Video Editor position include, among other things:
Fast-paced production using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with a thorough understanding of Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Affects. These technologies are used daily
Setting up, adjusting and monitoring professional video, audio, and lighting equipment
Identifying, storing and transferring files to other remote workers
Being regularly available and adjusting as needed to accommodate the filming schedule, while maintaining the quality of shows and regular scheduled releases
Occasional run-and-gun camera set ups for on the ground and live video reports
A minimum of two years' experience in filming and editing is expected for all applicants.

Team player - excellent people skills
Ability to multi-task and deliver final products with a rapid turn-around time
Broad and strong working knowledge of technology (Microsoft Teams, Video Editing software)
Highly self-motivated, organized, and scheduled
