Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM during a regular school day.

Job Description:
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a sixth grade language Homeroom and Language Arts and Literature teacher for the 2023-2024 School year. The teacher will work closely with the sixth grade team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to develop the gifts of all, and nurtures them to be saints, stewards, and scholars, always with an eye to their eternal destiny. Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree, hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have strong elementary instructional experiences.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, Elementary Experience

Physical Demands:
Stairs, lift 20 lbs, travel between classrooms and through the campus
