Job Description
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a qualified teacher to serve as our founding teacher for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for the 2023-2024 School year. The Basilica School is committed to developing an Atrium and will begin instruction in our Pre-K program. The program will add a grade level each year. Our Catechist will work closely with the Pre-K team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in our youngest students' intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. This is an excellent opportunity to build a program with a supportive team. Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree, hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have previous Pre-K instructional experiences.

Bachelor's degree, Experience with instructing Pre-K or primary age children
Physical Demands
Stairs, lift 20 lbs, travel between classrooms and through the campus
