Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM during a regular school day.

Job Description
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a Pre-K teacher for the 2023-2024 School year. Our Pre-K teacher will work closely with the Pre-K team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in our youngest students' intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. Our Pre-K teacher will develop structured activities that will aid the development of our students' gifts through joyful inquiry, employ positive discipline, and guide their young hearts and minds to the truth, the good, and the beautiful. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to develop the gifts of all, and nurtures them to be saints, stewards, and scholars, always with an eye to their eternal destiny. Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree, hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have previous Pre-K instructional experiences.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree, Experience with instructing Pre-K or primary age children
Physical Demands
Stairs, lift 20 lbs, travel between classrooms and through the campus
