Physics - Long-term Substitute - Bishop O'Connell High School is seeking a Physics Teacher for a long-term substitute position to begin in March 2023. This position is expected to run through the end of the school year in mid-June. Teaching responsibility for this position will include four sections of honors physics and one section of engineering. Adjustments to the schedule may be possible for candidates who are highly qualified in physics and do not possess the engineering background. Ideal applicants will have a degree in physics or a related field. Teaching experience and/or education coursework is preferred. The department emphasizes laboratory work and technology use to enhance student engagement with the science curriculum.
