SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all aspects of post adoption grant services and delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Responsible for implementation of all services outlined in the post-adoption services grant
Responsible for supervision and monitoring of case workers assigned to grant services.
Provide clinical support (as needed) to staff and oversee all referrals made to program.
Review, assess and strengthen procedures related to the post adoption grant to ensure successful outcomes.
Maintain full program compliance with all regulatory, licensing and funding bodies.
Review client records to ensure compliance with required documentation
Assist the staff in identifying and locating community resources for clients; demonstrate knowledge of adoption community resources in the Piedmont and Western regions.
Represent as point of contact for grant related activities in the community and promote the program in service areas
Manage all data, and prepare and submit reports in a timely manner.
Participate in budget preparation.
Promote staff professional growth through established training requirements.
Responsible for the preparation of program's employee annual evaluations.
Represents the Agency in the community and workplace in a professional and ethical manner.
Demonstrates sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.
Utilizes a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master's Degree in a related field of study (social work, counseling, psychology) required with three years of experience in foster care, adoption or post-adoption services. Supervisory experience and licensure preferred.
