Alpha Omega Clinic is seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator to work at our administrative office in Fairfax, VA.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills. The intake coordinator will also be able to demonstrate empathy and maturity when communicating with clients in distress, and a commitment to the mission and values of Alpha Omega Clinic. Ability to maintain confidentiality a must. College study in Psychology or Social Work is preferred. Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities include: • Answer phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner • Reply to emails and information requests in a timely manner • Schedule appointments and update clinician calendars • Assist new clients in selecting the best clinician based on their needs • Forward emails and calls to other staff members, when necessary • Prepare and send outgoing faxes & mail • Code and file material according to the established procedures • Update and ensure the accuracy of the organization's databases
Compensation is $26/hr for 30 hours per week, plus benefits. Must be available during administrative office hours, Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm. On-site training will be provided. For immediate consideration, please send a cover letter, resume, and references to: [email protected]
