Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Program Assistant will work an average of 8-10 hours a week providing support for in-person and virtual mission trip programs, development initiatives, and social media promotional efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with trip leaders, chaplain and mission site or base parish to coordinate virtual and in-person mission trip dates, retreats, service project events and venues; Collaborate with mission team leadership on agenda of all mission team meetings & retreats; Monitor registrations and connect missionaries with trip leader and chaplain, Collaborate with ED and CBC intern on mission specific social media campaigns and posts; Assist with edits, updates to the CBC mission trip website pages; Coordinate volunteer sign-ups for one day mission projects and generate reports detailing the status of mission trips or projects; May perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Related experience in program management, project management, process improvement assessment important; Participation in a mission trip expected in order to understand the process, experience and identify any areas for improvement; Basic computer skills in MS Office Software, web browsing, and navigation of MAC or MS Windows platform; Active Catholics preferred but not required
