SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the general day-to-day oversight of the Youth Housing Stability Hub operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
In partnership with collaborators, design a system for working with clients experiencing housing instability and seeking assistance at the Youth Housing Stability Hub.
Conduct intake assessments with clients and refer them to appropriate resources.
Partner with other programs and providers in the community to build and develop client resources.
Work collaboratively with coworkers to support clients as they connect with community resources.
Provide support to staff as needed and/or requested
Develop appropriate curriculum of trainings or classes for clients in collaboration with appropriate staff and/or community partners.
Coordinate and maintain class/resource schedule with appropriate staff
Serve as first point-of-contact for outside entities interested in utilizing Hub space.
Build and maintain relationships with outside agencies, stakeholders, and community partners as appropriate. Participate in all meetings as assigned.
Identify needs and coordinate donations for drop-in center.
Engage in outreach via social media.
Maintain and clean, organized, and orderly workspace.
Conduct inventory of supplies, replenish items as necessary, and keep organized.
Participate in training activities and ongoing professional development as assigned by supervisor.
Represents the Agency in the community and workplace in a professional and ethical manner.
Demonstrates sensitivity to the service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.
Utilizes a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree required with two years of related experience
