Oakcrest School, an independent liberal arts school guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, for girls grades 6-12 in Vienna, VA, seeks a part-time Events Associate.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, at least two years of experience in coordinating events. - Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and an ability to collaborate well with others. - Ability to solve problems with a customer service mindset. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - A professional work ethic and spirit of service to others.
- Assist in person as needed for school events (day, evening and weekend events). Events include but are not limited to: signature school events - Graduation/End-of-Year, Junior Ring, Awards Day, Christmas/Spring Concerts, Humanities Lecture, and Homecoming Weekend ; Advancement events - Patrons of the Arts, Leadership Reception, Gala, Veterans Day, and Grandparents Day - Order event supplies - Manage inventory of event supplies - Work with events vendors as directed by supervisor - Place necessary catering orders for school events - Track event RSVPs - Assist with Oakie Outfitters - fulfillment of orders and managing inventory
