About Chesterton Academy of Northern Utah
Chesterton Academy of Northern Utah (CANU) is a pro-life, pro-family classical high school teaching in the Catholic tradition, opening Fall 2023 with 9th & 10th grades, to be located in Bountiful, Utah. CANU will offer an integrated, college preparatory curriculum centered on the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. Focusing on the classics, the school will develop complete thinkers who learn to draw on faith and reason for the purpose of building a culture of life.

We are in need of faculty who can teach Mathematics, Science, Humanities and/or Fine Arts. Yet, as we are a classical high school, the ability and desire to teach in a variety of disciplines is considered an asset.

It is expected that candidates be practicing Roman Catholics and possess a willingness to adhere to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and the mission of Chesterton Academy of Northern Utah as set forth by the Board of Directors. Full-time teachers are expected to attend daily Mass and part-time teachers are strongly encouraged. Attendance is required of all teachers for special Masses (first day of school, Mass of the Holy Spirit and Oath Taking, graduation, etc.).
