Job Summary: The Director of Digital and Print Marketing at Spiritus Sanctus Academy is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the school's Catholic mission, support enrollment, and enhance community engagement. This part-time role focuses on creating compelling digital and print content that reflects the school's faith-based identity and academic excellence. Position could potentially be pared with other responsibilities to become full time.
The Director collaborates with school leadership, and admissions to elevate the school's visibility while integrating Catholic values into all marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy and Brand Management: Develop and implement a targeted marketing plan to promote the school's mission, programs, and events, ensuring alignment with Catholic values.
Maintain consistent branding across digital and print materials, reflecting the school's commitment to faith and education. Support enrollment and community outreach goals through strategic marketing initiatives.
Digital Marketing: Manage and update the school's website to ensure it is engaging, mission-driven, and user-friendly.
Oversee social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook) to connect with prospective families, current families, and alumni.
Create digital content, such as email campaigns, and short posts, to highlight school achievements and events.
Use basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to monitor campaign performance.
Ensure all digital content reflects the school's Catholic identity and values.
Print Marketing: Design and produce print materials, such as brochures, flyers, and event programs, to support enrollment and school initiatives.
Create visually appealing materials for school events, such as liturgies, open houses, and fundraisers, that align with the school's mission.
Community Engagement: Collaborate with the admissions team to develop marketing campaigns that attract prospective students and families.
Support advancement with marketing materials for fundraising and alumni engagement.
Represent the school at community events as schedule permits to promote its programs and mission.
Faith-Based Integration: Infuse Catholic values, such as faith, service, and community, into all marketing content.
Highlight the school's spiritual life, including Masses, service projects, and faith-based programs, in marketing efforts.
Ensure all materials respect and promote the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in digital and/or print marketing, preferably in education or nonprofit settings.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging marketing content across multiple channels.
Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing software like Mailchimp).
Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft mission-driven content.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within a part-time schedule.
Faith and Mission Alignment: Active commitment to the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic education.
Ability to integrate Catholic values into marketing strategies and content.
Willingness to participate in school liturgies, prayer services, or community events as schedule permits.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Catholic or faith-based organization, particularly in education.
Familiarity with enrollment marketing or fundraising campaign development.
Basic knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress) or analytics tools.
Skills in photography or multimedia content creation.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods while working on computers and design software.
Occasional lifting or transporting of marketing materials (up to 20 pounds).
Ability to attend off-site events or meetings as needed within part-time hours.
Work Environment: The Director works primarily in an office environment at the school, with potential for remote work on digital tasks.
Part-time schedule (20-25 hours/week) is flexible, with occasional evening or weekend hours for school events or deadlines.
