We are seeking a mission-driven sonographer who desires to use her clinical gifts in the service of life. This role is more than imaging, it is ministry. You will help mothers meet their baby for the first time, offer peace in moments of fear, and provide high-quality medical information with compassion. The sonographer will report to the Nurse Manager and Director of Operations, while working in tandem with the Radiologist, to meet the organizational needs.
Responsibilities: • Perform 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester diagnostic OB ultrasounds on clinic clients and patients • Produce clear, quality images for medical assessment by the Radiologist and/or Medical Director • Document scans and notes accurately in eKYROS (client records database) • Assist the Nurse Manager with supply management, machine cleanliness, and other exam room upkeep at each center • Provide a calm, supportive presence for clients who may be anxious or abortion-minded/abortion-vulnerable • Assist with administrative, advising, and education-based tasks, as needed, to support a collaborative team • Help foster a joyful clinic culture rooted in Catholic social teaching
Qualifications: • RDMS-Ultrasound Tech (w/ OB/GYN required) or RN-RDMS (trained in nursing and ultrasound technology) • Competence and confidence in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester diagnostic OB ultrasounds (including anatomy scans) • Practicing Catholic in good standing, faithful to Church teaching on the dignity of human life • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
Hours & Compensation: • Part-time, 25-30 hours • Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM-2:30 PM, plus some Saturdays (negotiable) • Competitive compensation, and the joy of seeing tiny hearts and big miracles on every shift
