Duties and Responsibilities: • Book Tier 1 and Tier 2 Outreach priest (OP) speaking opportunities using a combination of strategies that include marketing support, direct solicitation through phone, and personal visits • Ability to additionally maintain a calling portfolio and meet monthly goals as assigned by the Manager • Assumes full responsibility for parish mission initiatives during low-demand seasons • Researches and identifies prospective parishes and proactively initiates solicitations • Ability to prioritize and manage several projects efficiently • Assists in helping management in the development of fundraising goals and works to achieve and surpass these goals
• Utilize essential professional writing and interpersonal skills to communicate with pastors, secretary and other organizational staff. Meet or exceed the expected level of activity each week and month, i.e., number of calls, asks, personal correspondence, etc. • Engage CCO Outreach Priests and other CCO staff and cultivate relationships with host pastors to build a referral network Position Summary: • In alignment with the overarching organizational strategy of revenue generation and donor acquisition, the Development Officer assigned to the Tier 1/Tier 2 (T1T2) Project is responsible for meeting or exceeding goals to secure new (first-time) opportunities in Tier 1 and Tier 2 parishes in specific targeted dioceses.
