Executive Assistant to the Principal

• Assists the principal in daily tasks of the office
• Assists the principal in communicating the mission of the school to various constituents: teachers, parents, students
• Provides secretarial support to the principal
• Initiate correspondence on a variety of matters requiring an in-depth understanding of educational programs, as well as school policies and procedures
• Sets appointments for the principal upon her request
• Ability to honor and maintain confidentiality in all matters
• Assists with all school functions: Open House, Enrollment, Awards, Graduation, etc.
• Distributes mail
• Fields telephone calls to the principal
• Back up to the receptionist
• Assists with faculty contracts and personnel files
• Monitors and collects information required by faculty and staff
• Manages the interview process for new teachers and staff
• PowerSchool data entry assistance
• Knowledgeable and supportive in word and action of the school's mission, vision and educational philosophy
• Implement mission of the school through witness
• Represent the school in a positive way on and off the school campus
