About Our Team
Our Creative Team is divided up into Project Teams. Our Lead Designers report to a Team Leader and work closely with their teammates to help our clients do their good work better.
Each team is tasked with creating work that is good, true, and beautiful and makes our clients happy.
We support our clients with strategy, branding, copywriting, digital and print design, digital marketing, CPC advertising, and web development. We work diligently to help our clients build stronger relationships and make measurable impacts on the world.
We believe our best work is done when it flows out of relationships-a prayerful relationship with God, a collaborative relationship with team members, and a servant relationship with clients.
Our Lead Designers must have real humility, empathy, and enough vulnerability to have open and honest communication that places our clients' needs above their own expertise. Lead Designers must be resilient and dynamic. We must love participating in the process of creative work more than the fruits of our own creative efforts. Our clients must always be the hero of the story and never ourselves.
What Kind of Work Are We Talking About
Lead Designers are responsible for working directly with clients to strategize, develop branding, site-map, wireframe, and UX/UI design and develop websites using On Fire Media's proprietary CMS and/or WordPress with Elementor Pro as the team needs.
Lead Designers report to Project Leaders and work collaboratively with Lead Copywriters and Technicians to help purpose-driven clients do more good and have a bigger impact.
Execute strategies and quality design work across many project types, including but not limited to:
•Digital & Print advertising
Lead designers use their expertise to coach and mentor team members to help them understand the principles of good design, and are responsible for ensuring any design work from technicians is aligned with brand guidelines and our own standards of excellence.

We're looking for a team member with:

•A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design and/or Web Design is preferred but not necessary if you have the necessary skill sets from professional experience.
•An impressive portfolio showcasing stunning work across a variety of projects, and proficiency with today's top design software, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and WordPress.
•Some knowledge of and experience with HTML and CSS.
•Experience creating and/or working in brand systems, adhering to branding guidelines, and executing a brand across various mediums and projects.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to share design best practices and rationale clearly in a way that builds up the relationship with our clients.
•A well-developed sense of initiative and a strong work ethic with the desire to produce quality results for our clients and team members.
•Ability to work remotely without distraction and maintain professionalism in appearance and dress.
•Ability to balance quality, time, and budget to produce the best possible work on every project, and to foresee and identify potential problems and solicit suggestions for improvement.
•Ability to be solution-focused, a voice of reason and compromise, always looking for creative and innovative ways to make things work for the client, end-users, and our company business goals.
•Technical aptitude, the ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools, and a personal commitment to continuously improve technical skills, efficiency, communication, and collaboration skills, etc.
•An openness to give and receive constructive feedback to team members, and work together with others towards one goal, showing respect for each other, and leaving personal agendas at home.
