Classical Upper School Humanities Teacher (possibly History, Philosophy, Latin, Literature, and Theology)

St. Mary's Catholic High School, a member of the Chesterton Schools Network, is looking for a dynamic Humanities Teacher (Philosophy, History, Theology, Latin) to lead our students toward a deeper appreciation of these subjects and a deeper love of Christ and his Church.

Though our school was established in Taylor in 1896 and has long served PK - 8th grades, St. Mary's recently re-opened our high school to serve the rapidly-growing areas around Austin, TX with our Catholic Classical methodology. Currently, we are the only Chesterton Network School in Texas, and the first to be established in the southern region of the United States. Our curriculum focuses on the great books of the Western tradition, and seeks to integrate our Humanities curriculum with the essential truths of our Catholic faith. Ours is a community of educators, thinkers, and faithful Catholics dedicated to stemming the tide of secularism by introducing students to the joys and rigors of being a thinking, acting Catholic in today's world.
