Director of Christ Central Camp

Christ Central Camp, an affiliated non-profit organization of the Diocese of Beaumont is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Director to implement operational plans for a Christ centered facility for youth and young adults.

Along with the Bishop of Beaumont and the Board of Directors, the Director will be responsible for creating a long-term vision and direction for the Camp property and programs.

The person in this position will reside on-site and direct the day-to-day operations and needs of the newly constructed facility by performing the following, but not limited, duties: marketing and promotion of the Camp; cultivation of diocesan, community, parish, school, and volunteer relationships; development and maintenance of budget; development and maintenance of calendar and events schedule.

The qualified candidate must be an actively practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church with a commitment to ongoing formation in spiritual leadership, a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to problem-solve in difficult situations, and have a demonstrated record of success in fostering young adult leaders, supervising volunteers, and creatively promoting a Christ Centered environment.

Qualified candidates must have a four-year degree or equivalent qualifying experience in working with facilities marketing/management
