Campus Minister

LITURGY
• Schedule priests for all Masses (usually 4 per week)
• Maintain record of Mass intentions and priests offering Mass on campus
• Maintain Mass schedule spreadsheets - daily and all school
• Update Liturgy Stipend Spreadsheet
• Schedule and train students for all school Mass duties: altar servers, lectors, gift bearers
• Complete Liturgy Planning Form for all school Masses
• Set up and clean up for all school Mass
• Write Intercessions for all school Masses
• Support religion teachers with prayer resources, ways to celebrate liturgical seasons
PIER GIORGIO SERVICE PROGRAM
• Schedule and supervise Freshman Duties
• Give freshman "grades" to religion teacher
• Plan and execute Pier Giorgio Days (part of Formation Days)
• Supervise and support Junior and Senior required service
• Schedule Service Saturdays for juniors
RETREATS
• Schedule a retreat for each class and the faculty and staff
• Reserve facilities and transportation for retreats
• Work with Retreat Ambassadors to plan the retreat days
• Design and have t-shirts made for each retreat
• Secure retreat leaders/guest speakers
• Secure clergy for retreat days FORMATION DAYS
• Plan and execute Freshman Foundations
• Plan and execute Pier Giorgio Days (service program)
• Collaborate with College Counseling and Academics for junior College Days
• Collaborate and support Senior Days planning and execution
OTHER EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
• Schedule Monthly Confessions
• Retreat Ambassadors
• Work with House Coordinator on scheduling guest speakers
• MOTSY
• Rally for Life in Austin - January
• May Crowning
• Single Sex Retreats
• Coordinate/support outreach to parents
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Theology and/or Catechetics
• Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and Internet use for educational purposes and multimedia presentations
• 2 - 5 years of experience in related ministry
• Knowledgeable and supportive in word and action of the school's mission, vision and educational philosophy
• Implement mission of the school through witness
• Represent the school in a positive way on and off the school campus
