Early Childhood and First Grade Teachers, St. Mary School, Oak Ridge: St. Mary School is seeking joyful, faith-filled candidates for Primary Teachers (Preschool and first grades) for the 2025-2026 school year. The teacher is responsible for supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the Mission of the school, acting as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church and facilitating a positive, effective, and welcoming environment.
QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will: -be an actively practicing Catholic who has a desire to share the faith with students. -be committed to academic excellence and a willingness to meet the educational needs of the individual student. -experience in utilizing technology in the classroom for teaching and learning in an age-appropriate manner. -work in partnership with teachers, specialists, support staff, and administration. -communicate effectively with students, families, staff members and the community. -have a BA/BS degree. -hold a valid teaching license in Elementary Education (preferred but can also be in process). -have appropriate educational experiences.
