Responsibilities:
Forming young children in an environment where love for God and neighbor is lived and taught is essential for an Overbrook Catholic Teacher. The Preschool Lead Teacher is responsible for educating students based on the Montessori curriculum and pedagogy. Teaching religion and forming students in the Catholic Faith is taught intentionally and integrated throughout the day. The Lead Teacher collaborates in creating a nurturing and compassionate classroom atmosphere where children thrive.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and Montessori certification or working towards it, master's degree preferred, three years of teaching experience preferred. Creativity, understanding of the young child, highly effective communication and collaborative skills are essential. Experience with Montessori methods is preferred and openness to professional development is required.
