The Development Director advances the mission of the St. Carlo Acutis Catholic Student Center by cultivating generous stewardship, building strong donor relationships, and securing the resources necessary to support evangelization and student formation. This role combines professional fundraising expertise with a joyful, faithful witness to the Gospel.
The Development Director collaborates closely with clergy, staff, FOCUS missionaries, students, and volunteers to invite others into meaningful partnership with the work of the Church on campus. Key Responsibilities • Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective donors • Manage annual giving efforts, special appeals, and donor communications • Maintain accurate donor records and CRM systems • Plan and execute fundraising events and donor engagement opportunities • Collaborate with FOCUS missionaries and students to share mission impact • Provide timely acknowledgments and stewardship follow-up Qualifications • Experience in nonprofit development or fundraising • Strong organizational and communication skills • Attention to detail, especially in data entry and CRM management • Comfort with donor outreach and relationship building Faith & Mission Requirements • A practicing Catholic who joyfully lives and supports the teachings of the Catholic Church • Commitment to prayer, sacramental life, and personal integrity • Passion for evangelization and forming young adults
