Purpose: Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) provides bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and lay persons in the Roman Catholic Church with world-class, pastoral leadership formation and consulting services that strengthen their confidence and competence in ministry, enabling them to articulate a vision for their local church, to call forth the gifts of those they lead, and to create more vibrant faith communities rooted in Jesus Christ.
Summary: The Project Manager supports a portfolio of projects across the organization to ensure timely and accurate delivery of internal and external projects, services, and grants, using appropriate project management and methodologies. The management of agreements from fulfillment to close will involve maintaining a project schedule, budget tracking, risk management, tracking any change orders, and ensuring quality communication across the project team. The Project Manager will work with the Director of Project Management to assess the health of assigned projects and report regular status updates to key stakeholders. The two roles will also work to ensure that any key communications, decision points, or issues are relayed to the appropriate parties within the organization.
The Project Manager is actively engaged with the Catholic Leadership Institute client delivery teams and internal support staff. S/he proactively communicates and meets regularly with project consultants and client services to ensure the health of assigned portfolios. Tracking contracted deliverables to actual implementation and impact measurement to implement learnings in new contracts is critical. Occasional travel in support of client deliveries required.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required
3 plus years of project management experience required
2 plus years of client management experience preferred
Critical Qualifications/Skills:
A practicing Catholic with a deep love for the Catholic Church and strong understanding of Catholic culture, structures, parish life, ministries, and role
Client-facing problem-solving abilities; with experience in leading teams to successful outcomes is key
Demonstrated ability of project management skills including estimating, scope management, budget management, time management, risk management, change management, issue/conflict resolution, communication management, quality management, testing plans, and training plans
Ability to manage multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills (verbal and written)
Self-starter committed to customer satisfaction/project delivery and able to respond to rapid change within the organization
Comfortable with changing and adapting to respond to clients and organizational change
Ability to provide input and collaborate organizationally for continuous improvement
Must be a team player and be self-motivated
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
Previous experience with Enterprise Resource Planning programs is a plus
Experience with Salesforce and/or Enterprise Resource Planning, project management tools, and other technology preferred

Client Contracts:
Set up of project plans and allocation of resources across projected project timeline
Coordinate internal communication status meetings with key stakeholders to ensure all client engagements stay on track.
Manage project budget, project schedule, and deliverables including proactive communication in order to facilitate timely completion of engagements, a unified internal experience, and an excellent client experience.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery for all accounts.
Work with the DPM to secure the appropriate internal and external, as necessary, resources to successfully execute a contract.
Escalate change requests, as they arise, ensuring appropriate assessment of impacts to scope, budget, and resources.
Elevate and escalate issues and risks that arise during project execution, managing communication among the project team to ensure a collaborative approach.
Ensure appropriate closing activities are completed at the conclusion of an engagement to include assessing customer satisfaction and internal lessons learned.
INTERNAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Manage complex internal projects that align with business priorities across all departments, including grant tracking and management.
Ensure appropriate project management methodologies are applied, depending on the scope and type of project.
Provide appropriate scope, budget, resource, and capacity management.
Ensure strong communication with appropriate stakeholders, including elevation of risks and issues that impact the budget, schedule, scope, or resources.
Oversee the documentation of internal processes for projects, ensuring strong continuity for each subsequent execution of like projects
Ensure that internal staff across the organization is trained and has the necessary visibility for successful execution of project
REPORTING

Ensure that project status and key metrics are reported to the Director or Project Management and any other key stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments to help obtain key metrics
Regularly reporting to philanthropy of key project milestones and metrics.
