Year-Long Missionary

Missionaries of OLMC are young adults who love Jesus Christ,
His mother, and the Catholic Church, and who want to
accompany others as they embrace the same. Missionaries live
as a small community at the 100 acre retreat center in rural
western PA, working with and being supported by our permanent,
professional staff. Together this team will pray, play, learn,
and work. They will plan, market, present, and host retreats and
events for groups throughout the year. They will also serve as an
integral part of our in-house OLMC Summer Camps. Many days
will be long, but never short on graces from God.

The year of commitment runs from May 29th, 2023 through May
10th, 2024.

Position is paid the same as summer staff throughout the summer and with a monthly stipend throughout the school year; food and lodging are provided.

Essential Duties:
•Be an engaged and positive member of the residential community at OLMC.
•During June & July, be a part of the OLMC Summer Staff; living with the other summer staff and operating within the policies of summer programming.
•Help plan, prepare for, and facilitate programs for user groups throughout the school year.
•Be on-site hospitality for user groups to ensure that they have an amazing experience at OLMC.
•Contribute to the marketing & engagement efforts of OLMC through helping curate content and manage social media accounts.
•Engage and enlist volunteer support and work with them as they support OLMC in various ways
•Assist with cleaning the facilities before and after each group so that guests' experiences are amazing.
•Travel as needed to market the programs, facilities and staff needs of OLMC.
•Assist with projects on site with regards to the maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
