We seek a development coordinator who will have a direct impact on saving the lives of babies and strengthening families by:
Using digital marketing to ensure the mission and message of the Foundation generates interest, support, involvement, and donations
Planning, preparing, and executing our annual fundraising event
Managing monthly appeal process including email and direct mail campaigns
Job Functions:
Provide digital marketing support and direct supervision of digital/social media and video production contractors who support foundation website, social media updates and fundraising event marketing promotions
Oversee website content update
Ensure all social media is regularly updated
Work monthly with family services staff to secure testimonials.
Work with vendor to produce video testimonials on an annual basis
Oversee overall development of marketing materials such as flyers, event invitations
and signage
Plan, prepare, and execute annual fundraiser and one thank you event
Full project management of event including:
Event timeline and deadlines
Securing venue and vendors
Managing budget
Work with project coordinator on securing volunteers as need
Market event including:
Develop event messaging including promotional language
Create or oversee creation of solicitation materials, gift acknowledgement letters and
pre/post event recognition
Secure sponsors
Ensure an exceptional donor experience
Manage monthly appeal process including email and direct mail campaigns
Work with outside vendor on email and letter content
Review and edit written content to ensure grammatical correctness
Generate mailing lists and email campaigns for appropriate appeals
Utilize MailChimp software to:
(Create reports as needed to ensure proper cadence of appeal to individual donors,
effectiveness of campaigns, and additional reports as needed)
Establish, Grow, manage, and scale an individual pipeline of individual middle-level donors ($500-$999)
Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications, or other related
discipline desired
Strong desire to work in or 1+ years in non-profit fundraising experience focused on
executing fundraising events along with generating individual donor contributions.
Knowledge of the following software systems a plus, but not required: (Mainstream
donor database (CRM), such as Bloomerang, Donor Perfect, Stripe, MailChimp or
Constant Contact)
Uncompromising morals, ethics, and integrity to maintain confidences in all matters
A passion for the pro-life movement
Proficient in Microsoft Office - MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of graphic design software as well as Hootsuite or other social
media publishing software a plus, but not required
