Youth Minister

St. Agnes in West Chester, PA is seeking an experienced and energetic Catholic man or woman to establish and lead a Youth Ministry.

Initially the Youth Minister will survey the community and determine the viability of the Ministry followed by building the program.

As the program grows the Youth Minister will organize middle and high school youth events, including service opportunities and social activities within the Parish, while also organizing and encouraging participation in diocesan and other youth events.

This individual recruits, and engages adult volunteers to participate in events, and will be responsible for supervising volunteers including program leaders and support staff.

Applicants must be a practicing Catholic in good standing. A bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry, Theology or related field is preferred.

The candidate must have vision and a demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, manage and implement a youth ministry within the parameters of the Catholic Church.

The candidate must be a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Safe Environment Clearances are required.

The position is envisioned to begin on a part time basis and grow thereafter.
