Position Opening Event Manager, Office of Development Part-time (25 hours / week)
Holy Ghost Preparatory School seeks an Event Manager (25 hours per week) to execute and manage the primary fundraising and engagement events for the school for alumni and parents. As an integral part of the Development Office staff, the Event Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of the school's two revenue-driven events; the fall HGP Golf Classic and the Spring Auction. Holy Ghost Prep is conducting a capital campaign plan that will include robust engagement and fundraising goals and we are seeking an Event Manager to fulfill a key role on the Development Office staff.
In addition, the Event Manager will be responsible for planning duties related to Class Reunions, The President's Scholarship Reception, Mass of the Holy Spirit, and select Alumni gatherings, and several smaller engagement events and stewardship activities. This position reports to the Executive Director of Development with interactions across the entire HGP staff and community, most regularly with the other members of the Development Staff and school volunteers.
The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, carry themselves in a professional and mature manner, and have successful experience working in a team environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and software skills required. Must have experience with MS Office Suite (ppt, word, excel) and experience with social media, website platforms and/or Raisers Edge Software is a significant plus.
