Full Time (exempt) Position

The vibrant parish of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Klamath Falls, Oregon is seeking a candidate with enthusiasm for the faith that is looking to share his/her passion and foster a culture of discipleship. A candidate with strong evangelization skills, willing to reach out to our current faith community as well as our community at large. The Director of Adult & Family Faith Formation assists adults, youth, young adults, and children in their formation and guides them through relational ministry to grow in virtue and religious formation. This position includes evening hours, Sundays, and some weekends. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: directing the religious education and youth ministry programs, providing spiritual and professional formation for catechists and volunteers, working with parish families to cultivate Catholic family life and vocations, supervise & teach Sacraments and Sacramental Coordinators, and work closely with the pastor to increase parish devotion and discipleship.

Qualifications: The candidate must be a practicing Catholic, in good standing with the Church, committed to the authentic teaching of the Catholic faith. The candidate should be ambitious, self-motivated, possess strong evangelization and catechist skills, with excellent written and oral communication abilities as well as organizational, interpersonal, administrative, and experience with digital platforms. Safe Environment training/background checks required.

Education: Master's Degree in Theology of Religious Studies preferred, Bachelor's Degree in Theology or Religious Studies required (from a Catholic Institution strongly recommended).

Professional Experience: Five years of ministry experience preferred.
