Job Responsibilities:
Uphold and commit to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Infuse Catholic social teachings and virtue development into the curriculum.
Help students attain an optimum level of personal and social adjustment.
Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and supporting agencies concerning the needs
and abilities of students.
Provide individual support and group guidance to help students cope effectively with personal,
social, academic, and family concerns.
Plan and prepare for lessons with students effectively.
Maintain a classroom climate conducive to learning.
Provide a proactive program that engages students and includes leadership, advocacy, and
collaboration with school staff, administration, and community/family.
Provide support to the faculty and staff regarding the social and emotional needs of our
community.
Evaluate student progress and maintain confidential student records.
Supervise students in a variety of settings.
Support and assist with student behavior.
Collaborate with teachers and parents on early identification of children's academic and
social/emotional needs for early interventions.
Continue professional development.
Lead faculty meetings and/or parent meetings aimed at communicating the developmental
needs of students.
Participate in committees.
Ensure that all activities conform to school guidelines.
Communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
