The Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine has an opening for a Volunteer Coordinator. The successful candidate will oversee the daily management, coordination, and support of volunteers at the Shrine. Job duties will include recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and recognizing volunteer efforts in support of pilgrimage activities as well as special events and celebrations held at the Shrine.
The Volunteer Coordinator must be a Catholic in good standing. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience or a bachelor's degree in in a related field. The Volunteer Coordinator should exhibit an interest in and energy for volunteerism and community building and must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Leadership experience with volunteer groups within the Catholic Church is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
The Volunteer Coordinator will have a desire to promote the Church's work of evangelization and to promote knowledge of and devotion to Blessed Stanley Rother.
