Director of Campus Ministry
St. John's Jesuit High School & Academy, an all-boys school of approximately 750, is in search of a full-time Director of Campus Ministry. As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, we inspire each student to achieve his greatest potential in a diverse, Christ-centered atmosphere distinguished by academic success and service as a Man for Others.
The primary responsibilities of this position involve providing Ignatian based programming designed to develop students' relationships with God, themselves and others by providing support in the areas of prayer, liturgy, retreats, and pastoral care. The Director is responsible for overseeing a progressive, four-year retreat program, recruiting adult leaders, planning liturgies and prayer services, morning prayer and the daily Examen. This position reports to the Vice President of Mission and works collaboratively with colleagues in the Pastoral Ministries Department.
Candidates must be a practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church and exemplify a faith that does justice. A bachelor's degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry or a related field is required. Experience with Ignatian Spirituality is strongly preferred. Prior teaching or Campus Ministry experience is also preferred.
Candidates must lead, teach and act in a manner which aids in the formation of Men for Others through the tenets of the Graduate-at-Graduation; loving, open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, and committed to doing justice.

This position primarily works during the school year with a reduced summer schedule of hours. Candidates must be available to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
