Parish Office Secretary

St. Peter Church, a growing, diverse Catholic community in Northwest Columbus, has an immediate opening for a friendly bilingual (English and Spanish) Parish Office Secretary. The successful candidate will work full time, regular business hours, Monday through Friday, and occasionally evenings and Sundays as needed for Parish Programs; receive visitors, welcome guests, answer phones, assist parishioners, register new members and change addresses in our ParishSoft census database, send Flocknotes, manage the computerized door lock security system, maintain sacramental books and records, assemble the weekly bulletin and post it online, manage Mass Intentions, type documents in Microsoft Word, keep lists in Microsoft Excel, order supplies online, copy-fax-scan-email-type-print for the Pastor and assist the staff as able. The candidate must be familiar with the mission of the Catholic Church and compliant in accord with Safe Environment Guidelines.
