Lower Elementary Lead Teacher

Full-Time Lower Elementary (6-9) Teaching Position

Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori (GSCM) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Lower Elementary team as a lead director/directress for the 2023-24 school year. The director/directress will join our lower elementary team of teachers, serving 2 self-contained 6-9 environments that serve grades 1-3. The environment has a full complement of Montessori materials. The environment has a full-time assistant teacher.

GSCM offers a strong Catholic identity and the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to help children develop a profound, joyful relationship with God. Applicants should be able to support a vibrant Catholic environment, which integrates Catholic faith formation with Montessori's view of cosmic education. CGS is incorporated into each classroom through daily prayer, and a trained catechist implements the full Catechesis program. GSCM offers catechesis training for those who are interested.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid teaching license or non-tax alternative as well as an appropriate Montessori certification. Candidate must follow Archdiocesan guidelines for safe environment training and pass a background check.
