Preprimary Lead Directress

Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori (GSCM) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Preprimary team as a lead director/directress for the 2023-24 school year. This position begins August 1st 2023. The director/directress will join our preprimary team of teachers, serving three different 3-6 environments. The environment has a full complement of Montessori materials. Preschool children attend half day and Kindergarten children attend full day. An assistant teacher is in the classroom for the morning session.

GSCM offers a strong Catholic identity and the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to help children develop a profound, joyful relationship with God. Applicants should be able to support a vibrant Catholic environment, which integrates Catholic faith formation with Montessori's view of the whole child. CGS is incorporated in each preprimary environment with an in-class atrium environment as well as scheduled time in the large atrium. Preprimary directresses serve as catechists for their children. GSCM offers catechesis training for those who are interested.

The ideal candidate will have a Montessori credential. State license or non-tax certificate is also required.
